Proshanto Kumar

Aspiring Physicist and Programmer

About Me

Hello, I’m Proshanto Kumar, a graduate student in physics with a strong interest in complex systems, quantum information, quantum many-body systems, and non-equilibrium statistical physics. My academic and research journey has centered on theoretical and computational approaches to understanding complex physical phenomena.

I have developed expertise in scientific programming, data analysis, and quantum circuit simulation, applying these skills to research projects such as simulating spin dynamics on quantum computers and investigating phase transitions using percolation theory. My technical background is complemented by experience in professional and volunteering roles, including authoring educational content on data structures, algorithms, and programming for online platforms.

I am seeking PhD opportunities where I can contribute to advancing research in complex systems, quantum information science, computational physics, or related fields. I am eager to collaborate with leading researchers, expand my skill set, and address fundamental questions at the intersection of physics and computation.
